MICHAEL & JESS

Ballintoy Harbour

When a Welsh Zoologist meets an beautifully extroverted Northern Irish girl (who just so happens to carry a vast knowledge of animal facts in her pocket) it makes for a pretty darn entertaining and fun-filled shoot. The moment I received Jess’ email enquiry I was excited. Her love for life and for her man was so evident! We decided on the beautiful Ballintoy Harbour, on the North Coast and got the perfect night for it!

Being the animal lovers they are; Jess & Mike were excited to show me the elephant shaped rock formation a little walk from the harbour.

We then took a walk back to the iconic cave - and who doesn’t love a wee movie kiss, balanced on a tiny bit of rock?!

I love how the natural colours of the earth complemented Jess’ stunning hair colour. Colours are a subtle, yet highly important part of shooting. They make the images aesthetics stand out and compliment the frame.

They then of course, had to have a dance on the rocks. Just the two of them. And look at that scenery - so still yet, so powerful!

I am so excited for their wedding day at the stunning Mussenden Temple next year! So, keep your eyes out for that!
